It looks nice, but definitely bigger in circumference than the impression the picture depicts. Friends said it looks like something you would see in a high end hotel bathroom. Can't comment on functionality still waiting for waiting period (2 days) before using.For installation in an existing bath, placement can't always line of with a stud. So if you ever remodel or the wall or walls are opened up, think ahead and put an extra stud(s) in the area(s) that a grab bar would likely go, even if your not planning on installing grab bars at the time.
