a little disappointed with light output. I used fresh Amazon brand AAA batteries.Got this light for under the sink. The automatic turn on works well and it does provide some light but if you need a bright light to do dishes by, then this probably won't help that much.BUYER BEWARE!! This light NEVER worked from the moment I unpacked it. Batteries (AAA, correct size) slid around in the battery compartment(s) - no contact was made between the batteries and the contacts in the compartment(s). Obviously no quality control by mfg. I AM NOT LOOKING FOR A REFUND - the loss of $18.99 will be a constant reminder that I should have believed the poor reviews already posted for this light - they are accurate! AMAZON - you should be ashamed for marketing items of such low quality. I will now do what I should have done in the first place - spend more money for a quality item somewhere else.(NOTE: I only gave it a one star rating because there was nothing lower offered.)The output is decent. The issue I have is that the description says "Light does not switch on if there's enough light in the area. This saves battery life for a long time."Mine turns on when it senses motion day, night, in direct sunlight or darkness. It turns on whenever it senses motion regardless of ambient light.Not a huge deal but it will use up the batteries about twice as fast as it should. I've made sure sensor is not blocked. Not real happy with this unit.Not happy, but then again it's a cheap device.Can't really expect it to work as advertised, can I?Either stays on all the time or does notCome on at all. Just bad product do not buy!We have a closet that no power to the space, so hard-wiring a light would have been very costly, this is excellent battery power light for my closet ,it works well, plenty of light, easy to install,the best parts about this specific light is the fact it can be rotated. We angled it towards the shelves and it's perfect,the motion senses works when I open the door and approach the opening, and lights up the entire closet!Came quickly. I set it up in my safe and it works perfectly. It is a nice bright light but I put a second light in the safe as well. Both provide excellent light to see what I need to get.These lights are exactly what I needed for under the kitchen cabinets,My favorite features are the motion sensor, that it's wireless. They are absolutely perfect for places that might not have easy access to an outlet and for places that you are not in for long periods of time. It's very bright and lights the entire space enough,This is perfect and was so easy to mount. In less than five minutes, I had the batteries in and the light hanging under the cabinet in my kitchen
