So this thing is really cute and nicely priced at only $20. It is not quite as big as I thought it would be and definitely would not work to light an entire room, or larger area; however, it is perfect for a hallway, closet, laundry room, or some other smaller area of your home. The gems are held on by bent pieces of wire and move around a bit when handled but none have come off and this will not be an issue when mounted to the ceiling. I will be hanging mine in my small office and using a lamp for any backup lighting needs, which I think will work great. It is a lot cuter than the ceiling boob type lights and I think it is going to be adorable, especially with the right paint and furniture. Very elegant and feminine vibe to this piece.
