Previously I had seen amazing reviews of this skirt on other sites and given it is a timeless piece I could style lots of different ways, I decided to splurge and order. However, when the skirt arrived I was underwhelmed. The material is quite thin and the waistband is a visible strip of elastic, causing it to look cheaper than it is. I think you are mainly paying for the genuine silk, but given the overall construction I would have a hard time recommending this item.
